SMME's

Due to the fact that we are paid by government grants we are in a unique position to assist all SMME’s to develop their businesses. Between 80% and 100% of all our services and products are paid by these grants, they are called “interventions” when the grants are applicable.

Technical Interventions

Our technical support interventions will assist you make certain assumptions about the future of your business. This includes conducting a structured and systematic research of all the necessary facts and data, compiling the required legal documentation and assessing the risks associated with running your business – successfully. The following tools are used:

  • Feasibility study: an evaluation of the potential of your idea from a market, financial, technical and managerial perspective
  • Due diligence: examining the business opportunity and/or historical financial statements to help determine future trends in order to make an informed decision
  • Product-testing and development: the process of defining, designing, developing, testing and delivering products that will satisfy the needs of the market
  • Business valuation: the process of gathering all the information necessary for the buyer of an existing business to make an informed decision with regard to the price to be paid
  • ISO Accreditation: concerned with the implementation of an internationally approved system for quality management, self-assessment and third party assessment of a manufacturer.

Marketing Interventions

We have tailored a number of Marketing Support interventions that will help you devise effective methods to reach your markets.

  • Marketing plan: a plan that incorporates all aspects of the product or service and its benefits and features, how it will be promoted and distributed
  • Market research: conducting research and analysing the findings and recommendations for future activities

Financial Management Interventions

Our Financial Management Support programme will assist you the entrepreneur to manage your business finances efficiently, using the following tailored:

  • Accounting system: setting up a system of accounting and to understand the elements of a financial statement
  • Preparation of budgets: defining sales targets and expenses to achieve the product sales
  • Setting up a debtors/creditors system: correct information in terms of clients who owe the business and what the business owes
  • Setting up a stock control system: buying more stock than required is not productive and having insufficient stock will lead to losing orders for the business
  • Costing: knowing how much it costs to manufacture a product or provide a service helps determine direct and indirect costs and how to price for profit
  • Cash flow management: the process of managing the inflows and outflows of cash in a business

Due to our desire to help SMME´s we have implemented a loyalty program whereby every person who refers a company to us and we successfully do an intervention for that company will receive a commission of up to R500.00 from us on completion of the project.
